Purses
Rules:
1. You have to show your bag. - I happened to be carrying two bags to day, my school bag and my cute purse.
2. Show all the contents in the bag, no cleaning it out first. - oh man I carry a lot of CRAP! In the mix I have my filofax, a calculator, camera, phone, laptop, coin purse, business card case, TWO chapsticks, gum, TEN tampons, tissues, four hair ties, various sticky note pads, three old grocery lists, one to do list from a month ago, school notebooks/folders, emery board (in handy case), flash drive, first aid kit, two pens (one is a pen/pencil/stylus), mascara, three rubber bands, two safety pins (where were they yesterday when my shirt was gapping???), lotion, a mirror, fruit leather (don't know when I put that in there), a pick, some gum wrappers and a water bottle. There is probably more stuff, but that is all I can tell from the pictures. And I realized when I was doing this I was missing my miniature scale, so I must find that, it is so cute and handy.
Oh and before I realized I had been tagged, I had removed two diet mountain dews from my purse to put in the fridge, so those could be on the list too.
3. Bag tag 5 more people.
1-Mary
2-Meadow
3-Christie
4-Becky
5-Holly
Now I will find out who read my blog, mwa ha ha ha.

Little People
So on Saturday, I took Sadie shopping for a present. She ended up picking out a lovely white bear with green shamrocks build-a-bear and dressed it in pink fairy outfit. She seemed very happy with her choices so I didn't argue.
After lunch and shopping with Sadie, the fam had a party for her and Anthony. Here are some pictures.
Ashton and Chase being tree people.
The cuties Gloria and Hazel (I think Hazel is saying "cheese")
Hugs all around. Now it looks like Hazel is the only one in on the hugging, but if you look close you can see Gloria's arm around Hazel's back.
The birthday girl, Sadie. Note the GIANT sticker on her chest. When we were waiting in line to get her bear filled, I asked her if she wanted one and she was like "NO", but when we reached the front of the line and the lady asked she was very excited to get one. Seven-year old girls are funny.
Tony, the birthday boy, got a bow and arrow set from his parents. He loved it and started playing with it instantly, and he was really good at letting other kids play with it as well. What a nice boy.
Gloria dancing.
This picture isn't from the party, but it is a funny picture. My TV wasn't even on, but KPP felt like climbing in by the dvd player would be a good way to get my attention. It was.

Weekend Off!
Here are a couple of my favorite things from the trip (I forgot to take pictures most of the time)
Around Pioneer Courthouse Square, they have these cool fountains. All of them have different animals in them (there were other fountains and sculptures as well). They were very cute, though I wish there would have been water in them.
Cool elephant painting on a wall, right across from two guys passed out in what I assume was vomit on a sidewalk. Don't worry there were EMT's on the scene trying to revive them.
The most awesome bike sign EVER! To me it says always wear a helmet and always cross tracks at 90 degrees, NOT PARALLEL!
A street with a bioswale to mitigate stormwater runoff, before it reaches the drain.
Proof that I was there.
Pretty sidewalks (every section had a different pattern, here are two of my favorites) at the Chinese Garden, totally worth the price of admission.
A pretty flower at the garden! Why can't I live in a city that has flowers like this in February!?!
A cool steel bridge with a train on the lower level.
Burnside Bridge. Meadow and I walked across it Saturday, DANG! it was a LONG bridge.
So basically, my weekend was awesome (Thanks again Lindsay!) and totally made me less antsy and desperate for a vacation, now I can officially finish my semester without pulling out my hair or gaining 20 pounds from eating comfort candy.Thursday, February 14, 2008
VD!
Ya so, basically I don't care about the holiday. Though my mom and Bernie did get me pretty roses.
Here is a picture.
So I know this is the KPP blog, but Meadow is super busy and hasn't been updating, so I will post some pictures I took of the Haze.
Here she is in her outfit she chose to go shopping in. Note the headband is actually being used as a headband.
And Zoe gave Hazel her old bike, so now Hazel has a bike, she was VERY happy to get it and likes to ride it.

What I have to do for school.
While the hike up Red Butte Canyon kicked my a$$, the view was gorgeous! And even though we couldn't find the creek to take our measurements, it was still awesome to be able to go up such a pristine canyon, plus now I know the code to the gate, mwa ha ha ha. Oh and the best part of the hike was the end when I got to make a snow angel. I love messing up nice perfect snow!!
And since KPP has not been featured for a while, here is a picture of her being a daredevil. She decided that she could in fact hangout on top of my drying rack. I think the sweaters gave her the confidence to try, too bad they don't actually provide any support.
And here she is sitting on my feet, she is an EXCELLENT foot warmer!

Cereal
*okay I finished a box this morning, so I had 8 boxes of cereal. That just seems wrong! Though 3 boxes are of the same flavor... Though if I counted hot cereal I would have TWELVE boxes of cereal. For a girl that doesn't always have milk in her house, I think that is a little much!
I will count my sheets this weekend.
(Man, I am having some AWESOME posts lately!)
