Long time no blog.

Well I haven't blogged in over a month!! That is just crazy!! And I never wrote about my NYC trip, so here it goes.

New York City was AWESOME!! I seriously think it was one of my BEST! vacations. And not to get sappy on you, but I really think it was the people. I loved hanging out with Mary and Marcie. It was a good time.

Instead of posting my pictures here, I think I will just give you a link to my picasa album. It will be easier, and I will try and comment on all my photos. The first photo (and the album cover) is the cute gift Marcie got for Mary and I. She wrote a cute note that corresponded with the candy in the mug. She is nice.

okay now go to my link and you can find all about my fun trip. Note: I did not delete any pictures, so be prepared for some duplicates and blur : )

oh as I am going through the pics I am reminded of stories.

Mary and I were on our own the morning of our first day as Marcie had to work. So we decided to go to the Met, see some art and then mosey through Central Park on our way to meet Marcie for lunch. Well, the Met was a confusing building so we were there a long time, but we did see some AWESOME stuff, but a lot of lame stuff as well. But they had a fashion exhibit. It was really cool to see all the old magazine covers and dresses. Couture is definitely interesting. After the Met we started our mosey through Central Park and got totally lost. At one point, Mary made me pull out my compass (which I was MOCKED for carrying by Marcie and Mary, but man it was handy!). But we made it out. It really is a nice park, but I don't recommend the hot dogs, I wanted fixings and the park hot dog carts only carried ketchup and mustard. LAME! I need onions and sauerkraut! We also found that people were nice and would stop when we looked at the map and help us find our way. I don't know why people think New Yorkers are rude, because people were always willing to help.

hmm I think it will be easier to tell little stories by the pictures.

It really was a great trip! I am definitely going to go back. Thanks Marcie and Alex!!
