How I did on my 2010 goals.

I had eleven goals for the year, besides the looming items of pass the PE, get licensed, turn 30, go to Paris, etc.

Here is my short recap and my points I awarded myself:
  1. Get my house "company clean" and keep it at that level. – hmm, I completed this about half the time. I don’t know why this is so hard for me, it shouldn’t be, but it is. – 0.5 points
  2. Exercise 2-3 times a week. – ya, I did really well for a while and then slacked off a LOT! – 0.4 points
  3. Walk Nova 4 times a week. – Um, totally failed! Poor doggy. – 0 points
  4. Pack and take a lunch 2-3 times a week. – Now, I didn’t pack my lunch, but I went home at least 3 times a week for lunch. - 0.9 points
  5. Make my own breakfast 4/5 work days a week. – I totally rocked this goal! – 1 point
  6. Track expenses and spending for January. Find a way to save at least $200/month – Epic fail :( - 0 points
  7. Read 60 books. – WHOOT! I read 62 as of today! And that doesn’t include books read to kids or books read for work - 1 point
  8. Write in my journal at least once a week. – meh, mostly fail – 0.1 points
  9. Ride my bike to work 87 times. – SUPER EPIC FAIL! – 0 points
  10. Take the stairs at work. – I did okay – 0.5 points
  11. Secret plan – I did better than I expected, so I am giving myself full credit – 1 point
Awww, crap. I only got 5.4 out of 11, which means I didn’t even get half. Boo for me! Hopefully in 2011 I will be better at reaching my goals.

Now, I am still deciding my goals for 2011, but I can tell you now they will be weight loss heavy (and probably similar to my failed goals of this year). My BMI is over the obese level (barely, really, just barely), which means I qualified for the Waist Aweigh program (fat camp) offered through my insurance. That means that as long as I lose 1 BMI point (~7 lbs) every 60 days, they will reimburse me $50-$100 towards me reaching that goal. This means the gym membership that I have had for 2+ years, will now essentially be free, which is extra awesome, since the County just extended it to be unlimited to every SLCo Rec Center. YAHOO! Free water aerobics! Oh and other benefits of the fat camp is that when I get my BMI to less than 25 I will get $100, and if I maintain it for 6 months I get another $100, and I get a coach to help me waist aweigh...bah ha ha

So wish me luck on my journey to be a healthier-skinnier-less winded Jenni in 2011! And stay tuned for my 2011 goals : )

Now for pictures of the pets! (sorry they are blurry, they were from my phone, uploaded to picasa and then linked, next time I won't be so lazy, but if you click on them they are clear)
