It seems as if everyone has a music player on their blog (okay not everyone, but some people) and I think it is cool. So I added my own. It doesn't have a ton of songs, but it has some of my current favorites (that are appropriate for all ears i.e. no swears, at least I don't think they contain any). And really a player on a blog doesn't need a ton of songs, because who stays on the page that long anyways?
Oh and KPP says "Hello." She is currently sitting on my shoulder glaring at my computer.

Biking Season is Here!!!
Today marks the first day I biked to work. It was great. Okay, so it was a little cold and a little dark, BUT I did better than I thought I would. I anticipated it taking 30 minutes, which I don't think it EVER took me that long last year, but the logic of a sleep deprived person is not that great. My trip to work took 23 minutes. WOO HOO!! And my max speed was 83.2 mph*. On the way home, it took 15 minutes to get to TRAX, 15 minutes to get to my stop, 10 minutes to get to the library and then 45 minutes in the library and ~10 minutes home, so not bad at all. And on my way home my max speed was 96.8 MPH*
The best part of my trip was when I was walking out of the library and it started to HAIL! A couple pieces of it hit my face. It really hurt!
Now I just have 51 more bike-to-work days and my goal for the summer will be complete. (52 days of biking for the summer is based on reducing my driving by 1 day a week)
*I think my new bike computer may have an issue! Though my average speed was 11 mph, which seems about right for the first real ride of the year, so whatever. My old pedometer had my max speed as like 50mph, so it must just be a bike computer thing.

Strange Places
I recently took some binders full of school notes to work and I guess it is a new spot for KPP to sit.
She is a crazy kitty. And right after I turned off my camera she started scratching her post while sitting there, but by the time I got my camera back on (less than 5 seconds) she had stopped and wanted to be petted.
