I am still not sure if I am still in the program, but I am going to still pretend I am, err, starting tomorrow. As today I ate a cheese burger for lunch (and frankly it was not worth it).
BUT, I signed up for another race. I say race, but for me they are just organized events and my only goal is to finish. The latest is the Deseret News 10k. This will be year number 3 for me and I am in my best shape yet, but again, I just want to finish. Which maybe harder this year than past years, since my mom/10k buddy may or may not sign up. She is usually my motivator. I guess this year I will have music fill her role.
With all the events I have signed up for, I have had an event once a month since April. Here is the breakdown.
April - 5k
May - Bike ride (30 miles)
June - TRIATHLON! (I'm still a little proud, though I will push myself harder next year)
July - 10k
August - 5k
September - ??
October - HALF MARATHON!!
So as you can read, I need an event in September. These are my criteria, something I can do, a reasonable price and not too far from home. Any ideas?
